Spain vs USA has been one of the greatest matches ever. Both teams were incredibly good and it has been very difficult to get those medals. Doubtessly an amazing way of finishing this games, and we hope the closing ceremony is at least as good as the opening one.

I must admit I'm not very happy with the way the referees behaved but the United States have a prominent team and the result would have change very little if the match was more fair. United States, Spain, Argentina. Three important national teams really fought to become world leaders in Beijing 2008. Congratulations to all.

Water Bridge
In Austria some scientists found out how to make water to form a "bridge" between two glasses. Each glass was charged with a negative or positive current, and the water rose to join in the middle.

The "bridge" can be up to 2,5 cm long and last for 45 minutes. Scientists believe that the electric current generates electrostatic forces on the water surface and this leads to a bridge. The following video briefly shows it:

Eagle Eye
There's an actor we have often seen but which we did not really know. Shia LaBeouf is the main character in Holes (2003) and appeared with Will Smith in I, Robot (2004) and participated in Constantine (2005), but he has finally become famous thanks to Indiana Jones' last film. Soon he will appear in his own movie, which seems to be full of action and suspense.

I'm safe with you, Harry
In the last books of the Harry Potter series the author really showed her talent. "Harry Potter and the half-blood prince" is a book I read more than once, which is in my opinion one of the best ones. Its film finally arrives this year.
UPDATE: Warner Bros changed its mind and decided to postpone the premiere. The film won't be opened in November, but in July 2008, because "Summer is a better time for this kind of movies".

Regarding the books I did personally not like really much the films after the second one, but I certainly look forward to watch this one. The end of the history in the cinema is near and it will be extremely difficult for the director to satisfy to the fans of Harry Potter.
Harry Potter begins his 6th year at Hogwarts and will have to learn more about Voldemort's past in order to finally beat him. Doubtless it will be very exciting, with a view to a death...
